Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Crack SSC With Farha ("we", "us") is a free SSC exam preparation website run by Farha Afrin, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use sscwithfarha.com or the installed app (the "Service"), why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

2. Data we collect

• From Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile photo.
• Profile details you choose to add: WhatsApp number (optional), state, category, target exam, attempt number, education, medium, study hours, weak topics and how you heard about us.
• Profile photo you upload: resized to a small square image on your device before it is stored.
• Learning data: mock tests you start, answers, time taken, scores, marked and wrong questions, study plan and progress.
• Referral and challenge data: your referral code, who joined using it, and challenges you create or accept.
• Doubts: questions you send to the doubt helper and its answers.
• Usage and device data: pages visited, device type, browser, language, approximate location from IP address, and the ad or link that brought you to the site.
• Cookies and local storage: used to keep you signed in, remember settings (language, mock interface) and measure visits.

3. How we use it

• To create and run your account and apply daily free limits.
• To score mocks and show your progress, mistakes, rank estimates and study plan.
• To pick questions and topics that suit your target exam and weak areas.
• To run referrals, challenges and credits.
• To understand which pages and features help students, and fix problems.
• To measure and improve our ads on Google and Meta.
• To prevent misuse, and to comply with the law.

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you sign in and use the Service. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 10). Withdrawing consent means we will close your account.

4. AI features

Some questions, explanations, the AI coach and the doubt helper are produced by third-party AI services (such as Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude and Groq). We send them only what is needed for the task, such as the question, the options and your answer or doubt text. We do not send your email address or phone number. AI answers can be wrong; always check important facts.

5. Analytics, cookies and advertising

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see how features are used. We use the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags to measure whether our ads bring students to the site, and to show our ads to people who visited the site. These companies may use cookies and their own identifiers under their own privacy policies.

You can limit this: block third-party cookies in your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and change your settings in Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences. The site works without these cookies.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help run the Service, under their terms:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and server functions.
• Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
• Google: sign-in, analytics, ads measurement and AI.
• Meta: ads measurement.
• AI providers: as described in section 4.

When you share a challenge link, people who open it can see your first name and your score for that paper. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect students and the Service from fraud or abuse.

7. Messages

We do not send marketing messages by WhatsApp, SMS or phone. Your WhatsApp number is stored only in your profile, and you can remove it from the profile page at any time.

8. Where data is stored and how it is protected

Our service providers may store data on servers inside or outside India. Data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections, access to the database is restricted by account, and only the site owner and authorised admins can view student records. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your account and learning data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except anything we must keep by law. Analytics and ad data are kept according to Google's and Meta's retention settings.

10. Your rights

You can ask to:

• get a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update it (most of it you can edit on your profile page);
• delete your account and personal data;
• withdraw your consent;
• nominate someone to use these rights for you in case of death or incapacity;
• raise a complaint (grievance).

To use any of these rights, email hi@ansaridanish.com from the email you signed in with. We reply within 7 days and complete requests within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Students under 18

Students under 18 may use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian. By signing up, a student under 18 confirms that their parent or guardian has agreed. A parent or guardian can ask us to view or delete their child's data by emailing us. We do not knowingly use data of students under 18 for targeted advertising or behavioural tracking.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will show a notice on the site.
